Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Booxt services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Service Description

Booxt provides an AI-powered office assistant for contractors and service businesses, delivered via SMS and web. Each business receives a dedicated AI assistant powered by Anthropic’s Claude models. Booxt also serves appointment-based businesses (onboarded by application) and is not intended for use by medical or healthcare practices.

Service includes:

  • Dedicated AI assistant with its own SMS phone number for customer communications
  • Estimate drafting, sending, and customer acceptance; deposit collection and automatic invoicing
  • Estimate-visit and appointment scheduling, reminders, and review requests
  • Crew, subcontractor, and supplier coordination by text
  • Customer conversation management, job photos, and material takeoffs
  • Optional integrations you connect: Stripe (payments to your own account), QuickBooks Online (record sync), and your Facebook/Instagram pages (approved posts only)

2a. Connected Integrations

Integrations are optional and authorized by you: connecting Stripe, QuickBooks Online, or your Facebook/Instagram pages grants Booxt only the access needed to perform the actions you approve (collect your payments, sync your records, publish your approved posts). Each integration is governed by its provider’s own terms, and you may disconnect any of them at any time from the dashboard or the provider’s settings. Booxt never posts to your pages without your approval and never moves money except as you direct.

3. Pricing and Payment

Subscription (billed monthly via Stripe): $99/month flat for contractors — every feature included, unlimited messaging, unlimited crew, and no per-user fees. New accounts start with a 7-day free trial. Booxt never takes a percentage of your deposits, invoices, or jobs. Appointment businesses are onboarded by application.

Fair use: The flat plan covers normal messaging volume for a single business. In the rare case of automated or atypical bulk usage well beyond a single operator, Booxt may contact you about your plan.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time by texting your assistant ("cancel my account"); service continues through the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

Free Trial: We may offer free trial periods. Trial terms will be clearly stated at signup.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate business information
  • Comply with SMS regulations and Twilio policies
  • Not use the service for illegal activities
  • Not abuse or attempt to manipulate the AI system
  • Maintain appropriate customer communication standards

5. SMS Terms and Compliance

By using Booxt, you agree to comply with TCPA regulations and carrier guidelines for business SMS.

Message Frequency: Varies based on job, estimate, and appointment activity. Customers can opt-out anytime by texting STOP.

Carrier Charges: Standard message and data rates may apply.

6. AI Service Limitations

While our AI is highly capable, it is not perfect. You acknowledge that:

  • AI responses may occasionally be incorrect
  • You remain responsible for your business operations
  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime
  • AI is not a substitute for human judgment in critical situations

7. Data Ownership

You own your business data and customer information. We store it securely on your behalf and will never sell it. You may export or delete your data at any time.

8. Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services with 30 days notice. Price changes will be communicated 60 days in advance.

9. Limitation of Liability

Booxt is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for lost revenue, missed jobs or appointments, or indirect damages arising from service use. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months.

10. Termination

We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms, illegal activity, or abuse of the service. You may terminate your account at any time by texting your assistant ("cancel my account") or by contacting support.
